As Mother's Day approaches, my phone reminded me about one particular memory out from 2021 - a collaboration and a small interview with Eloise the brand. That time we worked together on a beautiful Mother's Day table centrepiece in a muted colour palette, that featured cappuccino roses and white dianthus in a beautifully crafted vessel by Eloise.
Reflecting on Motherhood
Thinking back to that time, it was my first year as a mother. Nelly pie was just a tiny baby then. I recall her fussing throughout the shoot, and constantly yawning (were we that boring? lol) - all well captured and documented in the photos. It's incredible how quickly she has grown since then, leaving me feeling a mix of emotions - bittersweet nostalgia.
The Meaning of Mother's Day
Now, Mother's Day holds an even more special place in my heart. It's a day to celebrate the journey of motherhood, the joys, the challenges, and the unconditional love that comes with it. Each year, as I watch Nelly grow and flourish, I am reminded of the incredible bond we share.
