Last year, I participated in a beautiful maternity shoot put together for Jillian and Daniel, who were expecting baby E.
Philly from Med Karlek approached me and shared the concept she had, and I immediately was keen to get on board. Simple and beautiful, with lovely details, the shoot came at just the right time – I had collected plenty of the dried goodies during the year, and this was a chance to finally put them to work.
I went harvesting for more, and found beautiful treasures (like those giant curvy branches, and spiky leaves, which turned out to be quite a dangerous weapon) that matched the theme perfectly. I love harvesting so much, but mostly because I get my husband to gather the “trash” for me every time we are out…hah!
The shoot took place at a bright beautiful studio, which has a lot of soft natural light and plenty of space. Lovely rattan furniture, silk and lace maternity gowns, lots of textural leaves and grasses made the space a gorgeous setting for the radiant couple. Can’t wait to work with this superstar team again!
