Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) is a piece of code placed on our website by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It allows us to measure and optimise our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.

What Data Does Meta Pixel Collect?

When you visit our website, Meta Pixel may collect the following information and transmit it to Meta’s servers (which may be located outside Singapore, including in the United States):

Meta’s Role

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd acts as a joint data controller for the data collected via the Meta Pixel. Meta processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy, which can be reviewed at: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

We have no control over how Meta uses this data beyond the tools and settings provided in Meta Business Suite.

Your Choices

You can manage your advertising preferences and limit how Meta uses your data by:

  • Using the “Why am I seeing this ad?” tool on Facebook or Instagram

Please note that withdrawing consent for marketing will not affect the lawfulness of any data processing carried out before the withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your data necessary to fulfil existing orders or legal obligations.


10. Overseas Data Transfers

Some of our third-party service providers process your personal data outside of Singapore, including in the United States (Meta Platforms, Google LLC) and Canada (Shopify Inc.). Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take steps to ensure that the receiving party provides a standard of data protection that is comparable to that required under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). This includes relying on contractual protections and the data protection commitments of our service providers.


11. Do Not Call (DNC) Register

We comply with Singapore’s Do Not Call (DNC) Registry provisions under the PDPA. We will not send unsolicited marketing messages via SMS, WhatsApp, or other text-based channels to Singapore telephone numbers registered on the DNC Registry, unless we have obtained your clear and unambiguous prior consent, or we have an ongoing relationship with you that permits such communications.


12. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in significant harm to affected individuals, we are obligated under the PDPA to notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) within 3 calendar days of assessing that the breach is notifiable. We will also notify affected individuals as required by law.

We maintain reasonable security measures to minimise the risk of data breaches and will take prompt remedial action if one occurs.

Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal information.
