This cozy and intimate matrimony was so special! My dear sister-in-law decided to tie the knot and asked me to do her personal flowers for the ceremony. So exciting!
Nicole wanted a roundish and quite reserved bouquet (so not me, right?) in the all-time-classic palette – white and green with just a bit of blush. I didn’t think long and chose to go for a bunch of peonies as the main flowers, together with sweet-scented hyacinth, playful astrantia, blush tulips, ranunculus and a bit of a wild touch in the form of beautiful two-toned olive leaves. The bouquet and a floral hairpiece perfectly complimented Nic’s elaborate and unconventional wedding dress.
Bobby’s boutonniere was simple and elegant – a ranunculus with astrantia and olive leaves, tied with a gold silk ribbon.
I went a bit wilder for the few centrepieces I arranged for the dinner venue, adding some burgundy and maroon hues to them, and letting the peonies open in advance for a more textured look.
