WEDDING: MARK+VIVIAN

Spring is here!
As Singapore doesn’t have seasons, one has to put quite a bit of effort to recreate them, which can be challenging but very satisfying when you succeed.
Early spring was the chosen with Mark and Vivian for their wedding – when greens are lush and deep in colour and first flowers start breaking through the wet and still naked earth, and young grass and the first crops cover the fields and are kissed by the warm sun. The whole look is so fresh and crispy, yet elegant with an almost pre-Raphaelite touch.
It was all about textures and lines! Multi-petal ranunculuses, fragrant ruffles of sweetpea, tender towers of delphinium, curly fritillaria, my favourite mix of ginko leaves, lunaria and pampas grass, and so many other beautiful elements.
A square partially decorated arch with two flower islands on each side was a perfect backdrop full of verdant greens and sparse flowers.
