A throwback to Wen Li & Nigel’s cozy and intimate wedding in June last year.
I remember when we met to discuss the couple’s preferences and brainstorm some ideas, it turned out that both of them had absolutely different tastes and gave me such different images of the flowers they wanted for their wedding day! That came as such a surprise for the both of them :)
So, in my proposal for them, I tried to merge two styles of arrangements – airy, light, multi-layered and feminine, and contemporary, clean and bold. Light dusty pinks, light beige and whites with some rose gold foliage, and my favourite mix of cappuccino and quicksand roses with anthuriums.
The solemnisation took place in the garden of Nigel’s family home, where him and his dad made a triangular arch that would serve as the backdrop to the ceremony – so beautiful! I worked on simple floral decor items for the solemnisation, and the couple’s bridal party repurposed them for the restaurant dinner that took place afterwards. No waste!
