DESTINATION WEDDING: SERGEY+ALEKSANDRA (MOSCOW)

My bestest friend got married!!

I wouldn’t be lying if I said I hardly remember a thing from this wedding after my first glass of wine – which means it was a success :)

It was such a homely and cozy wedding, with lots of good food, laughter and touching speeches throughout the dinner.

I’ve known Sasha for almost my whole life, so it was so easy to come up with a design for her bridal bouquet: sweet white, green and blue mixture of eucalyptus, snowberries, lamb ears, matthiola and the last peonies of the season – I didn’t really expect to find them in late September, but the Moscow flower market is just awesome! The peonies were pretty petite and so fragile, though still fluffy and so fragrant!

The venue was very rustic and homely, with objects and decor to make the venue resemble a living room in a country house, so I decided to dress the place up with loose foliage on the backdrop and walls, and with simple table arrangements.
