Flowers don’t only happen in December. Through the year I run small-group classes in seasonal arranging — the Lunar New Year workshop in January, a spring floral class around Mother’s Day, and hand-tied bouquets and loose garden-style arrangements in between. Same format every time: cozy setting, every material and tool provided, and you leave with what you made.

No experience needed, and I mean that rather than say it. Most people arrive having never stripped a stem. You’ll leave knowing why the lower leaves come off, what makes an arrangement sit properly in a vase instead of collapsing into a fan, and which flowers are worth the money in Singapore’s climate and which are a week of wishful thinking.
