A most magical fairytale wedding for Joy & Benjamin!
I was lucky to design personal flowers for this lovely couple on their big day. Beautifully planned by the couple themselves, Joy and Benjamin’s wedding was a rich palette of burgundy and navy.
While ubiquitous, this colour combination has so much potential, and never looks the same. We went for a blend of the two main colours with soft whites, beige, browns and greyish green. Flowers that included lush peonies, roses, pampas, eucalyptus, and delphinium of various shades from light blue to strong blue, all tied with a flowing silk navy ribbon, was the perfect contrast and complimented the bridal look. Soft lace and floral pattern on the gown, a stunning cape, and of course, Joy’s hair – definitely a focal point – created an enchanting look.
Joy chose ombre outfits and flower hoops for her bridesmaids – a beautiful and unusual alternative to the usual bridesmaid’s posy!
