WEDDING: MARISSA+KEITH

APRICOT ICE-CREAM AND BERRY SLUSHIE! That’s how I’d describe the two-part wedding of Marissa and Keith.
The couple had their morning solemnization in earthy but cheerful tones of peach, cappuccino, beige and salmon. For Marissa’s bouquet I chose quicksand and cappuccino roses, white peonies, rice flowers, holland terracotta caramel carnations, and plenty of other beauties, all tied with a light greyish blue silk ribbon to match the bridesmaids’ dresses. She also asked me to attach a beautiful locket with a photo of her dad, which was so touching.
For the evening celebration we decided to go for a more contemporary theme of rich and juicy berry colours. I constructed a backdrop for a small improvised stage to be used for toasts and speeches. Big tropical leaves, dried, painted and fresh ingredients, draping lacy foliage, plenty of textural elements and big open blooms. And the tables were decorated with funky arrangements with bright juicy blooms and painted leaves.
