Ten Years of Wreath Making Classes!
This year marked a very special moment for me and for Gathered + Styled — it’s been 10 years since I first started hosting wreath making classes.
What began as a small, seasonal workshop has grown into a much‑loved tradition, and I feel incredibly grateful reflecting on the journey, the people, and the creativity that have shaped it over the last decade.
How It All Began
Ten years ago, I hosted my first wreath making class with a simple goal: to bring people together around flowers, foliage, and a shared love of making something beautiful by hand. I could never have imagined how quickly those early workshops would fill up, or how many familiar faces would return year after year.
The heart of the classes has always stayed the same — slowing down, working with natural materials, and enjoying the process just as much as the finished wreath.
This Year’s Classes
This year’s wreath making classes felt especially meaningful. Each session was filled with creativity, laughter, and that unmistakable festive energy that comes from working with seasonal foliage. We created wreaths using a mix of lush greenery, textured branches, dried elements, and carefully chosen accents — each one unique and personal.
It was a joy to watch beginners gain confidence and returning friends refine their style. Some attendees have been coming to my classes for many years now, and seeing how their skills and creativity have grown is one of the most rewarding parts.
A Community Built Over Time
What truly makes these classes special isn’t just the wreaths — it’s the community that has formed around them. Over the past 10 years, I’ve met so many wonderful people through these workshops. Some come alone for a creative reset, others bring friends, family, or colleagues, and many leave with new connections as well as a wreath to take home.
These classes have become a small seasonal ritual for many, and I’m deeply thankful for the trust and support that has allowed them to continue year after year.
Looking Back (and Ahead)
Reaching a 10‑year anniversary feels both surreal and deeply grounding. It’s a reminder of why I started Gathered & Styled in the first place — to celebrate natural beauty, thoughtful design, and meaningful experiences.
